Haemodialysis
In the Czech Republic, haemodialyses (blood dialyses) are performed almost exclusively at haemodialysis centres that have the most modern equipment and are operated by leading experts. In the past few years, excellent treatment results have been achieved in this discipline in the Czech Republic (with respect to meeting the recommended quality parameters for the dialysis treatment provided), specifically in 75 to 95% of regularly dialysed patients on average. And this is despite the fact that their demographic data (high age, another disease) does not show good initial preconditions favouring such positive results from a long-term historical aspect.
